 I am Maggie, and I am the first and only ICNHA (International certified natural henna arts)certified, professional henna artist in London, Ontario. I offer all traditional styles of henna design (Indian, Arab, Indo-Arab & African) as well as modern contemporary.

Mehandi by Maggie does not use "black henna" as it is extremely dangerous and banned by Heath Canada. The only henna used by Mehandi by Maggie is 100% natural and safe.

 

Our henna (also known as mehandi, mehndi or heena) is made from the ground leaves of the Lawsonia Inermis plant which is then mixed with an acidic liquid (lemon, lime, grapefruit even apple juice) and aromatherapy grade essential oils. This paste is then used to decorate the skin. Henna has been used for thousands of years throughout Asia, Africa and the Middle East.  Recorded use of henna in Ancient Egypt, can be seen on some mummies.

 

I am available for all kinds of events and appointments including; birthday parties, sweet 16 parties, girl's night out, sangeets, hen/bachelorate parties, laylat al henna, baby showers, bridal showers, belly blessings, godh bharna, Diwali, Karva Chauth, Eid, Christmas, coming of age ceremonies, Bar and Bat mitzvah and "just because".
